The Full Story

Fees and studio policy

Most students will begin their tuition after an initial assessment. During this assessment, I will evaluate the students' vocal development stage, an essential step for all singers. The assessment aims to identify any existing vocal concerns, and move to outline what the initial phases of vocal progression may entail for students and their caregivers.  The assessment will also provide guidance on key developmental factors which will be a focus throughout their learning journey.

Pathways to success

As with all things, consistency and commitment will bear results.  Singing is no different.  All students, irrespective of standard must be prepared to undertake daily practice.  Beginners will benefit from a minimum of 15-20 minutes per day.  Examination standard and advanced students should allocate a minimum of one hour daily for best results.

My practice is informed by the belief that singing is often most successful as a non-solitary craft.  All students will be encouraged to participate in either small group or ensemble activities to enhance and develop the connective qualities of vocalisation.

Fees and policy

Students enrol in tuition on a school term basis or the remainder thereof at the time of enrolment.  All students require an assessment prior to formal enrolment.  Vocal assessment usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes and will attract a one-off fee of $60 payable via transfer on the morning of the assessment.

Following assessment, students may elect to enrol in  weekly individual half hour ($45) or individual one hour lesson ($90) during the school term.

Students may take up the option of shared and group lessons when commencing with a friend or seeking a similar standard of student to share with.  This option is subject to availability.  Shared lessons are $30 per half hour per student.  Group lessons are $25 per half hour per student.

Where absences occur, a catch up option may be offered depending upon availability.
